Earthquake in/near Chile, have been evacuated to high ground to avoid potential tsunami. We’re fine. <3
I swear I could snorkel in the Galapagos for months & not be bored. Swam with a 3m shark & 10 penguins today. It just keeps getting better.
Rescued! We are now aboard a massive tour boat (that, miraculously has gas & is capable of moving) & heading to our original destination.
Of course, as long as we don’t have to resort to cannabalism before being rescued, I’m enjoying my time here immensely.
In the Galapagos & currently stuck halfway way between 2 islands. Turns out speedboats need petrol. Funny that.
About to board a flight to the Galapagos. Hope I see lots of Boobies! (sorry)
New Passport: Get. Now on to Ecuador to join Tim at the Galapagos!
Today Cal & I took a flight over the Nasca plateau. I saw huge carvings of aliens & animals. Cal, poor thing, saw the inside of a sick bag.
A little more on our situation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8480013.stm. Thank god we’re in Cusco at least.
Torrential rain & flooding means our Inca Trail trek will be probably cancelled, & might miss Machu Pichu too. Bollocks.
