Not able to contain my enthusiasm for the transcontinental cake, emails were send off into cyberspace complete with recipe and pictures (see below) to all an sundry. Daph being the wonderful and knowledgeable baking person she is sourced a Red Velvet cup cake version in London, on Portobello Rd(http://www.hummingbirdbakery.com/flash.html),Â and brought some over as one of the best house warming presents i could think of. I quickly secreted them away and have been rationing them out since!Â You Rock daph!
Now i just have to pluck up the courage to make one myself!
