25% less wise.

I've probably mentioned this to some of you in the past, but about a year or so one of my wisdom teeth decided it'd be fun to get chipped, and have part of itself fall out.

So, being the dumbass that I am, I don't do anything about it. It didn't hurt at the time, so why bother? Months pass, and every now and again when I drink a cold drink I get shooting pains. Eh – I ignore them too. They also pass. This has continued on and off for the last year, until about a week ago.

I start to get a massive throbbing ache through the side of my face. Continuing the precedent, I ignore this too. Unfortunately for me it doesn't go away. It gets worse.

With a bit of prodding from mum, and a night of not being able to sleep for the ache, I decide today I'm going to the dentist and getting it fixed.

Looking over what I've read, it seems I've been a bit verbose for some reason, so I'll cut to the chase. I go to the dentist today, and they check out my tooth – I'm told that it is massively decayed and I'll have to have it out. So out it comes!

I haven't posted the pictures here since they're sorta gross, but if you want to check out the awesomeness of them, click on the following:

So yeah, as you can see, I've been walking around for a year with a massive hole in the back of my tooth. Hooray!

The tooth is going under the pillow tonight. I wonder if the $2 I'd get back home is influenced by the local currency. I'll report back tomorrow with the results!

ps: The whole ordeal only cost me £15. Bargain!

Woohoo! The money is adjusted for location! £2 = $5 Australian 😎

This settles it, if I'm losing any more teeth, I'm losing them here.
