Interesting things I have seen when walking to work this past 2 week:

• Swans Sleeping on the bank of the Thames
• A guy going with the flow (kiayak down the river as it rushed out with the tide – the river has remarkably fast tides)  i wondered at how he would ever make it back home.. wait for the next tide in?  
• MI5 & MI6
• Big Ben Striking 7
• A crane (bird) catching fish in a tide pool
• Guys building a lounge room (complete with TV and Sofa) out of sand on the south bank.
• Birds actually fishing on the Thames (bodes well for the general health of the river!)
• A bunch of balloons at the point when they transitioned from free flight to entangled in tree.. previously i have only ever seen them in the pre and post states.. never before the transition. 🙂
• The home of William Bligh (comander of ‘the bounty’)
• The previously mentioned African Childrens choir.
• A Tap Dancer busking (on oxford st on the way to dinner)
• An ancient black swan turned grey, in St James Park, with wizened neck.
